All consultations are conducted at Molescan Noosaville (Located inside the Noosaville 7 Day Medical Centre).
Full Skin Examination (Head to Toe) (For regular & new patients)
During these consultations, you will be asked to undress down to your underwear. Your skin will be examined from head to toe with a dermatoscope(skin microscope). Any suspicious lesions/moles may be photographed and stored on a computerised mole scanner. These images may be used for comparisons in the future or for helping to identify the correct lesion at the time of any future surgery. Cryotherapy (Freezing) may be also performed (if necessary) during these consultations. It is recommended that most Australians over 40 have an annual “Full Skin Examination”.
These appointments are quite popular and may book out several months ahead.
Spot Check Appointment (For regular patients only)
These appointments are to examine only 1-2 spots of concern and are only allocated a short amount of time. These are ideal for spots/lesions that pop up in between your annual “Full Skin Examination”.
These appointments are saved and should be available within a few days.
GP Referral Appointments (For new patients)
Appointments are saved each week for new patients with a spot of concern to them or their GP. Please see your GP for a written referral to obtain one of these appointments.
These appointments are saved and should be available within a few days.
Please do not book a Spot Check appointment and expect a full skin examination. Please do not get a GP referral to bypass the wait for a full skin examination if there is no lesion of concern.
