MBBS– Bachelor degree Medicine & Surgery. UQ

MMed– Master’s Degree Skin Cancer Medicine. UQ

FSCCA– Fellow of Skin Cancer College Australasia

Fellowship is the highest award issued by the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. It entails a structured learning pathway of courses and examinations, starting with certificate level courses in surgery and dermatoscopy. Then diploma level activities and assessments. Then part 1 fellowship level dermatoscopy exams and part 1 surgery exams. Part 2 Fellowship assessment finishes with an OSCE(Objective Structured Cinical Exam). Fellowship is only awarded to doctors, who the college is confident, they can manage competently most skin cancer presentations, both primary and referred cases.

Post Fellowship

Dr Hopkins is now creating skin cancer knowledge with research and publishing new findings and new treatments in an International Dermatology Journal.

Research

Dr Keith Hopkins is conducting research on Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) and Keratoacanthoma (KA). His first publication in an International Dermatology Journal, was published in January 2013.
