Cheeks

High cheek bones have always been a sign of beauty. It is a feature very common among catwalk models.

Now you don’t have to be born with high cheek bones to have them.

As we age, the skin and fat pads of the face start to sag with gravity. The fat pad over the cheeks sags causing flatter cheeks and deeper nasolabial folds(nose to mouth lines) and jowls at the jaw line. It also leaves a hollow above them which is one of the contributing factors to the formation of the dark rings under the eyes and tear troughs.

Cheek augmentation is a simple procedure that instantly enlarges the cheeks. By lifting the cheeks back to where they should be, it also helps soften the nose to mouth lines and lessen the jowl at the jaw line and helps with the hollows under the eyes.

Dr Keith is an expert at cheek augmentation. It is one of his favourite procedures. His technique is virtually painless and rarely bruises. As patient safety is our utmost concern, he will only use the safe, reversible fillers. Luckily from performing 1000’s of skin cancer removals around the cheeks, he knows the anatomy and the exact layer to place the filler. He also knows how to avoid the infra-orbital nerve and artery in this area.

Dr Keith uses a blunt tip cannula to put the product in the right location. As the cannula is blunt it is less likely to cause bruising or tissue damage.

Cheek augmentation should be one of your first considerations when rejuvenating your face as it also helps a lot of other areas and therefore they may require less product. Cheek augmentation can be done subtly, and in stages until the desired result is achieved.
